I have two workshops coming up in Sheffield on 10th and 11th of October as part of the Off the Shelf Literature Festival. Both will be taking place at The Shoebox Theatre, which is upstairs at The Riverside, Kelham Island.
These workshops are £25 each, or if you want you can book both for £40. These incredibly practical workshops are principally about oral storytelling – taking traditional material, folktales, fairytales, myths and legends and adapting them to live, unscripted performance. But the lessons that we’ll cover are applicable to creative writing, lecturing, performance poetry and all sorts of artistic mediums. There are limited places on both these workshops so book early! If you have any queries, I can be reached on 0771 909 2513 or by email at tim.ralphs@gmail.com.
